Discounting is a demon that threatens globality stability. Maybe that’s a little strong, but given the outcomes of what a discounting mindset has done to our planet, it doesn’t necessarily seem too strong.
And yet, discounting seems like such an easy solution. Take a little off the top, and you sell more. And more people can afford it. And everything works better.
That’s not exactly true, and if you are attached to discounting, you may be hurting your customers and your business more than you think.
