I laughed out loud when I read Robert Gorell’s post at Grok.com. Basically, a gourmet food store, Balducci’s had this special on display:

Hmmm… Someone totally missed the boat. It’s a big fat dumb mistake here in the US, and yet, in a multi-cultural world, where we all have global reach, how easy is it to make potentially big gaffes?
With the world so flat these days, it seems we’re expected to know a lot about a lot of different things, or risk alienating or disconnecting from our customers/clients.
We want our clients to feel seen, we want to bring in the details, and yet… it’s a lot of details.
Have you seen any gaffes? Committed any you’d care to admit to? 🙂
