Big Time Recommendation: Comfort Queen's 2009 Virtual Retreat

Jennifer Louden, aka the Comfort Queen, is a close friend of mine- we stay at each other’s homes when we visit. And, in the spirit of supporting a friend, I went to see her give a talk when she came down to Portland about two years ago.

Drop my jaw, lordy she was amazing. There was such a transmission of deep acceptance and, yes, comfort. My entire body relaxed in a way that is hard to describe. Deeply helpful. Especially in these uncertain times, eh?

Friday Jan 16 through Monday Jan 19, Jennifer’s putting on a Virtual Retreat for finding Calm, Confidence and Contentment in Uncertain Times. You can bet your patootie I’m going to be there. I hope you will, too.

Plus, it’s not expensive at all. Here’s the “official description”

  1. I had heard about the Virtual Retreat on a podcast, but forgot about it. Then, it was brought to my attention today, and it starts tomorrow. It happens to be the last day of my vacation and I was trying to discover a way to make every day a holiday. So, I shelled out a bit of cash, not a lot, but more than I “should” spend on anything right now! My belief is that this will be more valuable than the money I spent, that it will increase my productivity, and more importantly my peace, which is priceless.
