Why Heart of Money has a Deadline

I feel like I owe you a little bit of an explanation because the deadline to register for The Heart of Money Transformational Journey is January 30. After the deadline, the price goes up.

Deadlines can seem really manipulative. We’re talking about money and spirituality and integrity, and using your heart to discern, and then I whip out a deadline and you feel pressured and it can feel yucky.

I get it. But we have to have a deadline. Because of Susan.

What Susan Does

Susan Lucibello

Susan Lucibello (“Hi, Susan!”) has worked with Heart of Business for years now. She handles all of our administrative stuff. Meaning that when you register for the course, she makes sure you get what you need.

A lot of it is automated, but some of it can’t be. And people have snafus and struggles that they need help with, and Susan emails and gets on the phone to help anyone who needs it.

Human nature being what it is, we tend to do many things at the last minute. Maybe you don’t, but the nine other people around you do, including me.

It’s been a pretty consistent track record over the last decade that half or more of the people joining the course register at the deadline.

The course starts February 6. If all those registrations came in on February 5th and the morning of February 6th… well… let’s just say you wouldn’t want to be sitting in Susan’s place.

So we create an artificial deadline a week early. You can still sign up after the deadline but we charge $100 more. Not because I want you to pay the higher price, but to get you to register for the lower price, and give Susan a full week instead of 16 hours to get what she needs to get done.

I’m serious about this. For Susan’s sake.

Make It Easy. Register Now.

If you are drawn to this course and haven’t registered yet, register now. Yes, you do have two more days until the deadline. But why wait any longer?

Join us. What’s your heart say?

Read about it. Ask your heart. If it’s right, register.

  1. Mark, I’m so glad you shared this! It is the first time I have heard a heart-centered reason for offering one service at two different prices based on an artificial deadline. I’ve always been a bit weary of discount or introductory prices because I’ve always heard them explained as a way to create false scarcity, which just doesn’t resonate with me. But this? This is beautiful. It’s a way to take care of yourself, your clients and Susan. I’m so glad you shared your thinking (and the reality of the work) behind the deadline.
