This week I’m out of the office leading a lovely group of heart-centered business owners at the Heart Sessions Retreat here in upstate New York.
The rest of the team is around, though, including our team member Yollana Shore, who brings an inspired Sufi teaching to new life.
Before we get to her video, I wanted to mention that I’ve been re-reading Malidoma Patrice Some’s book Of Water and the Spirit. And one thing that stands out for me in context of Yollana’s teaching, is how, in Malidoma’s culture of birth, there was time for the truly important things.
Here’s her video:
I love what she had to say. It’s up to us to give priority to what is truly important. Let her know your thoughts and reactions, and I’ll be back next week.
P.S. The Heart of Money Transformational Journey
We opened up registration for our popular (700+ people registered last year) Heart of Money program. It runs in January, with a special teaching in mid-December for those who are registered. And best of all, it’s still at pay-from-the-heart pricing.

p.p.s. What if you had someone helping you identify and focus only on what mattered?
When you’re ready for this kind of help, one-on-one coaching, strategy and healing can help your business skyrocket forward in ways that hardly any other kind of support can make happen.

Feeling gratitude for you and your gift today, Yollana, of “The Three Jars” story! What a timely reminder to connect with what is truly most important in our lives. “Rock” on! ,) And much LOVE..<3
Thank you Susanna 🙂
Yollana and Mark, beautiful story and imagery.
This is a potent symbol and relates also to fractal geometry and nesting of our priorities.
That’s interesting, William… Can you say more about what you mean by that?
Hi Yollana, I know this story of the 3 jars and I really like hearing it again from you and how you have made your first priority your connection to yourself and the Divine. It brought me back to my own connection with my own needs and the connection to the Beloved, right here in this moment and it feels so good and so right on. Thank you for helping me remember!
Right on, Daniela! 🙂
Hi Yollana!
Thank you for that beautiful reminder. I very much resonate with putting the “rock” first – every day and especially NOW! In this bizarre time, my spiritual connection has become more important than ever. I am going to do a little thinking about the sand – for instance, getting lost in emails or distracted by internet searches.
You have a beautiful presence. Thank you!!!

Thank you Kendall… Glad this analogy worked for you 🙂
