Today we have something special for you: a story! A real, honest-to-goodness story told by a master story teller. It’s story time!
One of the things I know is true, is that if we’re going to change this culture of ours, we have to rewrite the stories.
The power of story to change and heal is incredible. I’ve been doing healing work for a long time, and yet so much healing seems to be about personal process and effort, unfortunately. A story can be magical, changing you in deep ways without effort. That’s why so many great teachers, including those in my own Sufi lineage, use the power of story.
Leo Sofer, who, fair disclosure, is a client of mine, has been an intuitive story teller for years and years. Decades. My kids have spent hours listening to his stories for children. And I’ve spent time with his profound stories for adults that make up his Stories of the Journey Home. He’s fantastic.
Leo interviewed me, and then told a story spontaneously, that arose from his intuition. The original interview, the story, and the follow-up interview are available to you.
I want to recommend highly that you go get it. The story he told surprised me and touched me deeply. I think you’ll enjoy the heck out of it.
