Earlier this week I had a conversation with best-selling author and Supercoach Academy founder Michael Neill about the 3 times he confronted his fear of visibility, and how his business and work moved forward in big ways each time he was able to walk through the fear.
Except that the fear didn’t look like anything he expected it to.
Our theme this next week is about Heart-Centered Networking, and fear of being visible is one of the big blocks to successful networking, which is why I wanted to include this interview here.
Michael is about to release a new book, the space [within]: Finding Your Way Back Home. As I told Michael, when I opened the book, my first thought was, “Oh, another one of *these* books.” But, in reading it, I was touched deeply by a transmission of peace that returned me to myself. I’m impressed with the simplicity, beauty and directness of his writing.
You can find the book on Michael Neill’s website.
I immensely enjoyed my conversation with Michael, and I hope you will, too. He tells great stories, and there are some important points that I summarize near the end.
I’m so grateful to start this next 8 days off with this conversation, because it highlights the inner game of Heart-Centered Networking.
There is an outer “game” too, in terms of principles, teachings and strategies. But you never have to abandon who you are to follow them.
The truth is that in order for your business to thrive, you have to somehow come into contact with new people. Online or offline, in groups or one-on-one, there are many different ways and styles to do it. But it kinda has to happen.
We want you to be able to do that networking in a way that feels good to your heart and matches your personality and supports your business. You can do it! And, if you’re not sure how, or if it feels elusive, that’s what these next 8 days are about.
For the next 8 days, through Thursday, May 19, celebrating the debut of the Heart-Centered Networking Homestudy, we’re offering some special extras and a special price.

Thank you so much for this video Mark, and for sharing your conversation with Michael. I have only just discovered his book ‘The Inside Out Revolution’, and am starting to read that (so many people have recommended it to me).
I’m looking forward to reading his new book, as I know this will be hugely powerful and liberating!
The idea that it’s not about “You” it’s about “Them”, the people who really need our help, makes the issue of visibility much lighter, and easier.
Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to hear both of you discuss this really important topic, and give us your wisdom and insights!
Ann! Glad you liked it so much. Michael is a special one and I’m grateful he was willing to have such an open conversation with me.
Oh, this was wonderful. I have been through the book once and have exclamation marks everywhere. Sometimes “Oh” or “Haha”. And I loved the way the two of you were with each other – so human and so connected to the seen and unseen. Thank you.
Hi Miriam- so glad you liked his book so much. I’m glad you enjoyed watching us- it was a great conversation for me.
What a great interview!!! I thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed this interview…enough to come back and watch it a second time. Such wonderful presence, both of you. What a joy…THANK YOU!
Chris- you watched twice!? That’s inspiring. 🙂
