Many weeks I’m the one who reads the assignments that come in from our Clients & Money and Expand Your Reach programs. It’s always moving to me reading the vulnerability people express in building their business. Whether it’s working on their One Compelling Sentence, asking for referrals, enrolling clients, or pricing themselves, there’s always something heart-felt and real that’s there.
Even more, I’m struck by how many people write some version of what I read a few times this morning, “I love this class!”
Here are some the things people name that they love:
– The profound healing that can happen in the spiritual context that’s provided. We prioritize heart connection, and the teachings I’ve received from my Sufi teachers have had a consistent way of opening hearts. I credit the focus on humility, truth and service… and the fact that we just make space for this.
– The pacing. Many people come in wanting, or thinking they should move very quickly. But, nearly everyone comes to appreciate the week-by-week, step-by-step approach. Pushing, rushing never did it for them before, so something about just taking one step at a time, and making it stick, actually produces results.
– The kindness. The events in the world are harsh enough. The challenge of building a business is harsh enough. Our whole team brings such kindness, and that’s what people remark on over and over again.
– The attention. We promise “every question answered” and that’s what we do. It’s, of course, impossible for everyone to get air time during group coaching calls, and we don’t pretend that it is. However, everyone can turn in a weekly assignment form, we read ALL of them, and answer every question asked in those forms, every week. Plus, we check in with you during the program. – The practicality. It can be easy to go off into spiritual la-la land, but every week we bring it back to the details, the nitty-gritty. The details of the world matter, the Divine has brought love to every detail in this world, and so paying attention to the details of a sales conversation, and all the other things you do to build your business, matters, and makes a difference in the results you get.
– The results. Clients! Money! People get’em. Some people are positioned to take off like a rocket, maybe from previous work they’ve done or some unnamed special moment they are in. Others move more deliberately. But the focus is to help you build your business, and that’s what we see
Because of all that we pour into this program, we really see so many people fly with us.
