When clients just keep taking (and taking, and taking…)

If you’ve been in business for any length of time, you’ve probably experienced clients who take a lot. They want appointments all over the calendar, they want flexibility on price, and maybe other things.

If you don’t handle this, it can create a lot of resentment. But, the way I see a lot of business owners try to protect themselves really just pushes people away, and undermines the business.

So, what to do? Let’s talk about it.

If this is you, and you watched the video, what comes up? What do you notice?

When you get beyond group programs and classes

My individual clients tend to have four things in common:

  1. They are past start-up. They aren’t brand new in business, and have confidence in what they do.
  2. They are beyond bare survival level. They may have their challenges with finances, although some don’t at all, but they have enough to be able to focus on long-term strategy.
  3. They have a spiritual commitment in their life. They aren’t new to spiritual practice, or concepts like healthy humility and spiritual surrender.
  4. They have something significant they are up to. I’m not really moved by hype around “empire building” (oy.) But, the business could be significantly better, or bigger, or easier, or having more impact.

If this is you, and you’re intrigued by the idea of working with me directly, individually, well I’m curious to know more.

I love the work I do with the handful of clients I care for. I’ve recently had some folks complete after more than a year of working with me. If you think you and I would have a blast working together, and you’d love my expert care on your business, let’s talk.
