When a client needs to work with you but their money is tight.

As I watch what’s happening in the world, I’m aware of various realities- some folks have businesses that continue to do really well. And others are struggling to find clients, and have seen some sources of clients dry up.

There is no one answer, but I’m thinking this article I wrote back in May of 2019 might be really helpful. Honesty, discernment, nuance are all welcome in your heart, and the heart of your client.

Marketing to Strangers starts next week.

I can say the same thing here, about how important it is to prioritize your ability to consistently market your business to strangers. And, I get that financially things might or might not be easy for you.

I get the uncertainty the world. I get the fear and the challenges, because I’m here, too, with all of us.

It’s one of the reasons that for years now we’ve offered most of our courses at pay from the heart pricing, so that kind of nuance and context can be taken into account.

Here’s what I suggest:

First, is marketing to strangers a priority for your business? Meaning, is it important that this year your business become known to more new people more consistently?

Second, do you like the way we do things? Do you resonate with my approach that is both concrete and spiritual? Ethical, with cares for justice, and also wanting you to have business results?
