Marketing to reweave a culture of care

Often business strategies are talked about separate from their impact on our lives and on the world around us. I was talking with my son recently about how I’ve driven in places where billboards were not allowed, and how relaxing it is not to be assaulted by constant commercial messages while one is traveling.

Marketing is one of those things that we must do, because our businesses, our lives, thrive on relationship. And yet, if it’s done with bad or unconscious intentions, it can create misery and really add to the pain we’re all feeling.

This video presents a very simple strategy, and yet when it’s done with sincere care and love, I believe it really supports and adds to what we’re trying to create in the world, a more connected, caring place of mutual support.

And, it really does work as marketing.

Every act of business can be an act of love.

An active example of what I just talked about.

The webinar I’m hosting tomorrow with Anuradha Kowtha on Cultivating Liberation is exactly what I was just talking about in the video. Anuradha is doing incredible, important work. I want you to know about their work. And the webinar is going to be really supportive for what we’re all trying to do in this world.

The webinar is Cultivating Liberation, and is a slice of Sowing Post Capitalist Seeds, Anuradha’s longer course on this topic.

Take a look at what it’s about, and register. And yes, if you register, you get the recording:

And, they feel the same way about what I’m presenting to their audience.
