Before we dig in, two things:
Thing One: Webinar today
One is that later today I’ll be hosting the Memoir for Mystics webinar with Tanya Taylor Rubinstein.
I like how she names that for many, they aren’t looking for a beginner writing group or basic how-to, but something deeper, that meets you at the level of soul, of psyche, of mystery.
When you’re writing a book like that, you need to honor what you know, but also discover what you don’t know, so your mystical voice is welcomed, not edited out.
Tanya offers a clear, embodied, sacred pathway to write the book you came here to write, the ancestral, interspiritual or mystal story that only you can tell.
One of her clients, Andrya Allen, said this: “I have been coached by over 50 writers across the world… and not one has ever opened me to myself the way this process does. If you’ve found writing lonely, scary, or challenging – this is the answer.”
You don’t need to be further along, or to figure it out alone.
The webinar is in a few hours, Wednesday, Dec 3, noon – 1:15pm eastern.

Thing two: Our next course The Heart of Your Business
The question: “Can every act of business be an act of love, and still be effective?” is closely related to another question: “Can your business develop to support you financially without depleting you or making you do things you hate?”
This course, The Heart of Your Business, is what gave birth to my book, Heart Centered Business. I’ll be running the course live starting in January.
One of the things the course will give you is a detailed sense of the Big Picture of developing your business. What I mean is that no matter who and where you learn from, you’ll understand the elements that need to be put in place, so that your business isn’t a random collection of things and strategies, but instead can work together to carry you.
Another thing I intend for every participant is healing. Not “getting over” issues around business, but true healing, so that you can avoid the grossness, and still take on, with love and care, the aspects of business that may have seemed cold or strange.
Plus, a bonus class on December 17 if you register early, so you have some support through the end of December.

On Listening to Your Business and Why it feels like starting from scratch over and over again…
As we get into December and the end of the year is approaching, there can be a hurry to try and make up for so-called “lost time,” to try and achieve the things you hoped for back in January that might still feel a ways off.
Instead of scrambling, I want to offer you two articles that might really help.
One is on Listening to Your Business for Guidance.
Over the years, I’ve seen people get caught up in what they think their business needs… but the answers tend to be a whole lot different when you actually ask your business itself what it needs.
Then, the other one is Why it feels like starting from scratch over and over again. This is so common, so many people struggle with this. And, there’s not an easy, wave-a-wand kind of solution.
But, there is a different approach and awareness that can help a LOT in developing your business.
I’d be curious to hear how either of these articles, or maybe both, landed with your heart and the heart of your business.
with love,
