Jennifer Louden has been my client for quite some time, and she is amazing. Honest, direct, and unquenchable in her pursuit of her own truth and authenticity.
One of the amazing things about having a business like mine is I have clients all over the globe. The down side is rarely do we get to actually meet in person.
Jennifer was in Portland the other day promoting her newest book The Life Organizer, and so we had dinner, and I also heard her speak at New Renaissance.
In person, just relaxing and having dinner she’s a great. But, let me tell you, speaking, she is a transmission machine. What do I mean by that?
In Sufism, as well as in other traditions, there is the concept of Transmission, when a teaching is sent directly from the teacher’s heart to the student’s heart. It’s kinda like a spiritual downloading.
Jennifer was transmitting comfort and acceptance. And not just hot baths and chocolate comfort, but the deep comfort and acceptance that I’ve come to see is absolutely necessary for the healing process. My heart is was drinking it in, big-time.
The Life Organizer does the same thing. It’s been selling like hotcakes, the publisher is running a second printing, and it was only released in January, so I haven’t actually had my hands on a copy until I saw her.
Let me tell you- it is beautiful, restful, comforting. The same transmission in the book as when she was speaking.
Does it sound like I’m recommending it? I am.

I ordered my copy of The Life Organizer last week and it’s been fun going to my mailbox to see if it’s here yet. Surprises are fun! My guess is I’ll have it this week and then I’ll get a closer experience of what Jennifer is up to – especially since I’m not in a place to see her in person. Sounds like you guys had a great time together…
Just took a bike ride and checked the mail on the way in. The book was there! So I’ve unpacked and started flipping through. I’m glad to have something sweet to read today.
