Ah, the Endless Search for Easier to Digest How-to Info

Info 1

Sometimes I feel like every new thing I want to be able to do takes a huge amount of study or familiarizing before I can get to the good part. Especially on the computer. Each new software application, upgrade, new forum. You know? I’d like to get back into playing the guitar, too, but when I look down the road at what it’s going to take, I fall into an overstuffed chair.

When it comes to online forums the challenge can be particularly great. It’s not only about getting the system figured out, it’s about connecting with others when you don’t have the advantage of hands, eyes, voices, and body language. Then there’s also the whole thing about putting yourself out there period. Yet, once you’re comfortable with the environment, there is nothing to stop you from making deep and lasting connections, not to mention feeling incredibly supported as you work away alone in your office.

I’m happy to report that we’ve made a dent in the learning curve here at the Oasis.

Video Tutorials

We now have a shelf of VIDEO TUTORIALS to help you navigate in the Oasis and the Tent. Yeah!

Thanks to Mark, we’ve hopefully brought some more ease to our community, especially newbies and techno-tentatives. 🙂 I’m sure we’ll be adding to the TUTES list in the near future, but for now you should have plenty to play with. Check them out. You can also get to them by going to “Help” in the navigation bar and clicking on “Tutorials” in the dropdown. Have fun and let us know what you think in the Tent.

See you in the Tent,

Kate
