Hey Everyone, Judy Murdoch here.
Part of Heart of Business’s planning process this year has included a lively discussion around core values: both the core value held by Heart of Business as a whole, as well as the those held by individuals who make up the team.
Why are we devoting time and energy to clearly expressing our core values?
Well because whether they’re expressed or not, core values show up in everything: how we communicate, the decisions we make, and the actions we take. And the larger a business gets, the more important a clear set of values becomes. Clear values enable a business to stand strongly on its own.
So how about you and your business? Have you stopped to think about what is most important to you? How your values are showing up in the way people experience your business in the world? In your products and services? In interactions with you and your staff?
Take a moment and consider the 5-7 values that are primary to you and your business. If you feel moved to, please share what you learn on the Oasis.
