Three Bride Overwhelm

Today’s Business Heart is by Jason Stein, Heart of Business practitioner

Jason-Stein-largerI’m getting married next month! And there are more details to handle than I could imagine. Thankfully, I have help and something arrived in the mail…

Plus, I already know what it’s like in small business to take on a lot. There’s the marketing, the sales, the delivery of your services and products, and the follow up. The challenge is you can’t focus on it all at the same time.

Imagine that, like me, you’re getting married next month, but waiting for you at the end of the aisle you see 3 different people.

120 seconds. Take a look.

What’s your experience with too many grooms or brides in your business? How do you choose which to marry?

p.s. Which project do you focus on? Which do you put on the back burner?

Obviously the marriage analogy is a little strong. In business you work on a project, you complete it, you move on to the next.

Adroitly sidestepping the whole love life question, the issue is -which- project? If you can only work really fully on one major project at a time, which one do you choose to give your attention to? And what if it feels you *have* to work on multiple projects or the business won’t make it?

Sounds like you could use some expert help.

This is an invitation to have a conversation with one of our practitioners, so you can get hands-on, personalized help to get your business going, like now! Take a look, see who resonates, schedule a no-pressure conversation.

Try it on, see how it feels to get help sooner rather than later. We’d love for you to start having fun and being profitable with your business.

  1. fab, simple vid and so important. Love it. I have always tried to do too many things at once and have just made a commitment to focus on 1 thing at a time.
    PS happy wedding

  2. This is great, Jason. Hmmm. Three brides. I think that’s legal in Utah (>:)
Loved the analogy. I struggle w. not getting overwhelmed and then feeling paralyzed like a beetle on her back!

  3. Thanks Jason. It was hard to focus on what you were saying because I was much more interested in who your new bride is and what she it like. 🙂 She seems VERY fun and VERY interesting. Congratulations!!

  4. @Alexandra, @Inbal, @Nicky, @Jane, @Meg, @Tory – Thank you all for well wishes and joining in on focusing on one thing at a time. My bride to be is hilarious as you’ve noted.

  5. Well, done, sir! “Joy” is not.. well.. ‘you know’ and not in this video! But, you and your bride are so right! One project, one bride at a time 😉
