Having a successful business is, to some extend, a numbers game. When I say “numbers game” I know that can bring up issues for folks, for instance, “Does that mean I’m supposed to treat people like walking wallets, and just discarding the ones that don’t pay?”
There is absolutely a danger of the “numbers game” of marketing and business to turn into that, and it often has.
However, for you as a heart-centered business owner, there’s a different view point I want you to consider. I recorded a pretty short, less than 4 minute, video, that explains where I’m coming from.
Let’s expand your reach now, this year.
I know, I know… expanding your reach can seem a bit overwhelming, so much so that you maybe are turned away from it a bit.
As a spiritual healer with thousands of client sessions under my belt, here’s what I’ve seen about how healing happens: in steps. You don’t heal all your issues, and then venture forth into the world.
Instead, you step forth, tentatively, imperfectly, only as far as you can. And then you do the healing work with what arises. Then you take the next step.
I’m saying this because so many people wait for the right moment, when the right moment is the moment they choose to take the step, and trust, or arrange, to have the resources around them do deal with what comes up.
It’s not too late to jump in for Foundations2: Expand Your Reach. The world is in too urgent a situation, too many people need help, for us to spend all of our time in “getting ready.”
Instead, give yourself the heart-centered compassionate support, as well as the detailed business teachings, templates and strategy, that can change everything for you.
We did start yesterday, but that was the orientation call. We’ve got six months to go, yet, and so you aren’t behind at all. Jump in with us.

Wonderful video, Mark. Being in a position to be unattached to people’s decision to hire me is such an ease on my heart now. To have enough flow to not be sitting on the edge of the cliff each time someone has a decision to make about a session,
Yay, Kate! I’ve so enjoyed watching you be in this place of flow and openness. Really beautiful. 🙂
Perfect timing Mark. I was just avoiding doing some reaching out. Hmmm, I will go do that now. But first I wanted to say that I took such a deep breath when you spoke about being unattached to each person’s choice. Yes.To have the peace that comes with helping people and knowing you are doing good work in the world … and being unconcerned if people say yes to working with you – that would be much easier on the heart.
I’m so happy this inspired you to step out, Donna! And yes, the ease is wonderful to feel.
Thank you, Mark. As always, I welcome your voice and perspective! In listening to your video, I think of times in my business where I’ve felt desperate for clients and yes, the squeeze and pressure are painful. The other person can become an object to meet my needs – my need for a paying client – rather than a fellow human being. Ouch!
And yes, I wanted to get it all right (and feel a heck of a lot more together!) before moving forward in my business. One of the most vulnerable things for me in my business was moving forward even with my imperfection, all my feelings, fears and doubts and trusting the process. It was a deep surrender for me. Thank you, as always, for normalizing the process and inviting us to bring all of ourselves – all our mixed feelings, thoughts, needs – to the journey.
Karly- You are so welcome- and thank you for your generous words. Such a deep surrender, isn’t it? So beautiful, though, too.
