[Video] A spiritual answer to feeling tender marketing in public

It’s really not unusual for those with hearts, with empathy, with caring, to feel… tender? Tentative. Exposed in some sense when going to market their business out in public.

This is a fairly woo-woo teaching I’m bringing, and yet it can be so nourishing and powerful and just plain effective. And no, it’s not about marketing just on the inner planes, sending out a message without actually doing the marketing.

But it’s a spiritual approach that can care for your heart as you show up in public spaces, or social media, with your business. Take a look:

I’ve taught this to so, so many people over the years, and it has had a pretty profound effect for so many folks.

How did this teaching land with you? What’s your take-away? Questions? Pushback?

With love,

Every act of business can be an act of love.

The Learning Community will be closing to new members March 19.

Twice each year we’ve opened the Learning Community for new members, then close it for a time so folks can integrate into the culture, so that we can make sure everyone is cared-for, so that we can shift from welcoming new folks, to helping everyone with developing their businesses.

That time of shifting is approaching! We’ll be closing to new members on March 19. Up until them, we welcome you with open arms!

There are so many good reasons to join the Learning Community, and the main one is: do you want to develop your business? Do you want it to fly? Do you want integrated spiritual, heart and nitty-gritty, so that you don’t have to get all those needs met in different places?

“I was on tech support for my website, which I had with a lot of care and work, redone according to what you teach. And the woman on the phone helping me saw what I had written, and said, “I have to tell my daughter about you. She needs you.”

  1. Thank you, that really touched something deep. The picture of the armored heart is a good image of how I’ve unconsciously been with my business in the world – protecting my heart’s sensitivity. And pretending I’m not afraid when I am.
Had totally forgotten your teaching from the Heart of Business course, that my business has a heart, that can be out in the world.
Listening to this opened up a wall, and grief came out, but it’s a relief to know there is another way to relate to it all – and that the shift in relationship can make a difference.
Thank you for making this pathway available Mark.

  2. I love this reminder, Mark. As I’ve gotten more sensitive I’ve needed reminders that it’s okay to not put my WHOLE HEART out there. Also reminded of your concept of “veils” (rather than armor) that keep our heart appropriately safe in our work, while allowing us to be fully expressed. Thanks for your teaching!

  8. This really touched me, I am very spiritual and never really thought about it in this respect!
I am going to think of my business and everything surrounding it as a divine presence! See if that helps reduce the stress and makes me think differently.
