[Video] Why you can’t hire someone to do your marketing

I’ve heard this same question for twenty years from so many different clients:

“Can’t I just hire someone to do my marketing, and I just run the business?”

If you’re a solo, well… here’s what I have to say, both the bad news and the good news.

I mentioned the Three Journeys of Marketing in the video, and you can find that here:
The 3 Journeys of Marketing (and the true purpose of marketing)

I hope the good news outweighs the bad, and that you still feel inspired. Because you *can* do this.

With love,

Tending to your business while facing all that’s going on in the world has *always* been an issue, at least for the past twenty years that I’ve been paying attention.

However, the urgency in the world seems to have stepped up, and the overwhelm and emotional paralysis seem to be stronger than ever.

Can I offer you some medicine for these times?

A free webinar, with no hard upsells or manipulative funnels attached, coming next week.

  1. I completely agree that solopreneurs are much better off marketing their own businesses rather than seeking outside help. It’s more work in the beginning, but building a strong personal brand is so paramount to standing out these days!

  2. Mark you are spot on! There is no point in hiring someone, since it is the age where you have to build yourself as a brand and work on marketing your brand inhouse.
