I love it when someone says they want to start to be more explicit with their spirituality, bringing it into their business. I suppose part of it is feeling a sense of camaradie, since that’s what I did over twenty years ago.
It’s also celebrating that they trusted themselves to step into what can be a scary place. Will they lose clients? Will they get new ones? Will it work?
Also… how do you do it without creating a cult, or unconsciously proselytizing your own point of view? Ugh!
And, there are also other concerns, too. I jumped into this topic with both feet, and I hope you find it nourishing and helpful.

Mark! I am so delighted that you took the time to address this. Thank you SO MUCH. I love the idea of using “according to…” when approaching a spiritual idea. One of the things holding me back from integrating Buddhism into my design business has been that I have been afraid of coming off as “preachy” or as making someone else’s beliefs lesser than my own, the last thing I want to do. My main reason for wanting to incorporate Buddhist beliefs is to attract those who might be cut from the same cloth, regardless of spiritual background. This is very helpful, thank you from the bottom of my heart!
