To run a business, do you have to just keep pumping out content, like some kind of mad dog on a forever deadline, and never let up?
I’ll give you the short answer: no, you don’t.
So much has to do with your heart is in all of this, and your intention.
Please, do NOT approach content creation from a mechanistic, “If I do this, then I’ll get that.” kind of approach. It feels crappy to you in the doing, and it will feel crappy to the people who are receiving. It’s just a crappy way to live life.
When I create content, I’m thinking of the people in our Learning Community who are brilliant, capable, inspired hearts, and yet sometimes struggle with things that are easy for me, just because I’ve been doing them for twenty years, and they haven’t.
I’m thinking of the participants in our Heart of Money & Power course, who don’t need to be told what to do, but often just need some love and compassion in facing things they want to face, but have a lifetime of people being terrible to them around money stuff.
I’m thinking of the brand new business owner, or the experienced one, who has hit one too many walls, and feels stuck, and just needs a little care and respite before continuing on the journey of caring for people themselves.
Your content creation is a kind of caregiving. It’s a presencing of love and affection and compassion in this world. It’s finding a sustainable path to giving of the gifts you’ve been given, so that others don’t have to you pay you for every little bit of help.
And yes, it often has the effect of deepening trust with people, of helping them to know you a little better, and feel safer approaching you for more in-depth help. And yes, you do have to be a little forward and a little smart in how you invite people to take the next step with you.
But please allow yourself to let go of the unconsciously manipulative approach, of creating content trying to “get” people. We’ve all been gotten in the not-good ways, and we all want more care and love in this world.
Please help to fill this world with more love. Please let us share our gifts as freely as is sustainable for us to do. And please be bold in inviting people to get more help with you. It’s rare that an article, or a video, or a book even, will get people all the help they need. The hand-holding we all provide each other, meaning the professional services we do, is often what makes the difference.
Lean in, in all the ways. It’s leaning in where the support is most present. Let’s be the earth for one another.
With love

Heart of Business, Inc.
Every act of business can be an act of love.
My bold invitations.
The first bold invitation is a pay-from-the-heart virtual retreat that happens on February 25. I’ve been leading this Virtual Retreats since 2005, I’ve led over 100 of them. They are surprisingly profound, and incredibly easy to attend. No childcare, no travel, no rescheduling. Just one day of going deep, clutter-clearing your heart, and gaining insights and guidance for your business.
Please join me and the merry crew of heart-centered business owners. It’s priced at pay-from-the-heart, and you can attend a portion of it, if you already have some commitments that day.

The second one is more of a “keep your eyes out” kind of invite. In early March, we’ll be re-opening our Learning Community for new members. We generally only have an open public enrollment twice per year, because it’s too disruptive for the membership to keep welcoming new folks.
In the Learning Community, there’s so much- spiritual nourishment, in-depth learning modules, co-working sessions, live coaching calls, and more.
And, like the retreat, it’s priced at pay-from-the-heart, meaning you set the price.
It’s worth taking a look, and getting ready to jump in in early March.

Yes very true . We should create content keeping in mind our audiences & what might be helpful for them
