Can you share Heart of Business with folks you know?
It does feel vulnerable to ask, and we want to make it easy. We know some folks love to refer and just need to know how. We know others who would be happy to refer, they just need it to be easy.
So, let’s make it easy for you.
First, who to refer.
Micro-business owners: Heart of Business offers are designed for what are called “micro-businesses.” These are businesses that are:
- as small as just a solo, self-employed practitioner in start-up, or maybe not even really started but wants to have a business to…
- as big as a small company involving a handful of people involved in a business doing maybe high six or low seven figures per year…
- and everything in between.
Spiritual: Because we’re so explicitly spiritual, they should have a spiritual sense, but there is no particular religion or spiritual path needed- we’ve worked with folks from a wide variety of spiritual backgrounds and experience.
Care about making the world a better place: Values around social justice, health freedom, or regenerative agriculture, or community and collective care. Envisioning a society built on love and care and everyone being included.
If they have these three boxes checked, they are ideal. If they have two, they will still probably love our work
Second, how to refer.
Because working on your business takes trust and care, very often dreams as well as income are dependent on it, we find it’s better for each person to get to know us.
Sometimes you have a close enough relationship with someone that you can strongly recommend a course or other paid offer, and they’ll jump in. And that’s wonderful- thank you!
More often, if someone can try out our free offerings first, they can see for themselves if it resonates.
The best ways to refer tend to be fairly straightforward. You have someone you know, or a group of people, that you think would do really well with our work.
Then you make a heart-felt recommendation, and share one of our free offerings. There are a bunch below, and most will invite people to opt-in, and end up on our email list.
You can grab a link to the thing you want to share and:
- Send a personal email or DM.
- Make a post in a group.
- Include it in an email newsletter.
- Mention it in a video you are publishing.
- Or something else?
Third, what to refer.
Over the last 23 years that we’ve been doing our thing, we’ve created a lot of free content for folks to be able to taste what we do before committing.
Here are some of the most popular. We suggest you choose the one that best fits who you’re sharing it with, rather than overwhelming folks with more than one choice.

What to say about it: Humility is a powerful spiritual quality, and yet an unhealthy humility keeps many business owners from speaking powerfully about their work. Mark teaches an approach that remains humble and yet gives you access to a power and confidence in speaking about your business… without hype.
Other options: Mark!
If you have a group or organization, small or large, Mark is happy to offer a free class to your community. If you have a podcast, or a newsletter, or other community, Mark is happy and grateful to show up there, too.
He’s an experienced guest, having been interviewed hundreds of times.
Thank you! And let us know you did!
What we do here is in-depth spiritual work done with integrity, in a world of spiritual by-passing. And it’s nitty-gritty business development, step-by-step, in a world of haphazard trends that don’t fit together. And it’s an awareness of the systemic issues in the world, and what needs to be done to create a more just and happier society.
If you’ve experienced us and love what we do, your referral is so deeply appreciated. Thank you!
If you do, please let us know!
