[Video] How to get booked on podcasts with Paul Zelizer

Correction: Last week we made a terrible mistake, and misspelled George Floyd’s name. Names are important, and honoring someone, especially someone murdered in such a terrible way, but messing up their name is a terrible dishonoring. As soon as we saw the mistake we edited the blog and the FB post, but of course couldn’t recall the email that went out.

I wanted to acknowledge that it’s not a small mistake, it’s a big one, and that we messed up. I’m happy to hear any feedback about this, angry, upset, or otherwise.

On to today’s topic.

Of the many ways to market your business, being interviewed on a podcast is one that has been overlooked by many. There are so many advantages- becoming visible to an audience, having enough time to have nuanced conversations about a complex topic, and having enough time to make a deep connection with a listener.

But, how do you get booked?

It’s easier than you think, even for folks newer in business. I invited Paul Zelizer, the founder of Awarepreneurs and the host of the Awarepreneurs podcast, to discuss the particulars of how to actually get booked!

Paul is a friend and a colleague, who really dives deep into the intersection of conscious business, awareness practices and social impact. I admire him immensely. Come on in!

Heart of Business, Inc.
Every act of business can be an act of love.

The Heart of Your Business starts June 30.

The sheer number of things that a business needs to be successful, and trying to do them all at once, is a huge obstacle to getting there. It also leaves you overwhelmed, working too hard, and struggling to find time for other things in your life.

If you really understood the topography of your business, and what it takes to be successful, and how to prioritize things, then it means you don’t have to do everything at once, that many things can wait. That you can focus on what’s important now, and trust that.

That leaves you with more free time, with time to care for your heart, to engage with your community, to be with your loved ones.

That’s just one aspect of The Heart of Your Business. There’s so much healing, and clarity, and nitty-gritty in it. Please join us.

And, you set the price. Don’t avoid getting help just because you may be facing difficult a financial situation. We’re all needed in this moment, and I don’t want you missing out.
