Over the twenty years I’ve been doing this gig, I’ve heard so many people who were completely new in business be told that getting their website designed and launched was going to cost “a lot.” US$5000, US$10,000, or even more…
Hold it a minute there…
There are times when it is absolutely worth it to spend a good amount getting a website designed and launched. But other times, it’s just way more than your business needs.
Web designer Casper Blackwell of, Heart Light Digital, and I dive into this conversation, and explain it’s okay to go for an inexpensive website, what that might really include, what’s most important, and other details.
If you’re contemplating a website, it will be worth your while to listen in.
You can find Casper here: heartlightdigital.com
In the video, he mentions Lisa Taraba’s site, as a great example of a beautiful site that wasn’t expensive and didn’t need a lot of customization: ithrivecoaching.ca
Fair disclosure that Casper is the person who designed and launched, and still helps maintain, our current website. We love him! He’s fantastic. And we get zero from him if you choose to work with him.
With love,

An important and sweet interview with two heart-centred souls about how getting started with an impactful website doesn’t have to deplete your bank account.
My life has been affected by you both to varying degrees, both of you connecting me to more deeply showing up to service in love. Thank you, Casper and Mark, for all that you do.
Great conversation! Mark, would you still want the 8 basic pages in a website, or is there a simpler option for someone just starting out? (ie fewer pages) I have a client right at the start of creating a website right now?
Thank you, Casper and Mark for having this great conversation and help me out to find a better way to start out my new blogging project.
