I have a friend and colleague, the Irish storyteller, author and peace activist Gareth Higgins. You may remember him because we did a webinar together this past year on How Not to be Afraid.
For some years, he, and his husband Brian Ammons, M.Div., have been leading retreats in Ireland on peace and reconciliation, learning from the peace process in Northern Ireland, and combining it with some very profound spiritual work.
I was humbled and honored when Gareth invited me to co-lead a retreat with them.
So… we’re doing it!
It’s on the role of business in a world of conflict, and cultural transformation toward the common good.
The way we’re seeing it, building a business can seem like climbing a mountain, but worse, since it’s often filled with the inner conflict between hopes of what is possible and fears of how it can all fall apart.
Even harder to develop a business entirely in alignment with the just world you want to see, that contributes to social justice and the beautiful world that can be.
We want to invite you as a heart-centered business owner to come to Ireland for an inner and outer journey, to learn about ongoing, successful peace and reconciliation, and the transformational role of business in the peace process, at the same time you learn how to develop your own business.
