Boundaries are definitely something we’ve touched on at Heart of Business, and yet it’s not a topic I’ve delved into deeply.
When it does come up, folks are worried that if they set boundaries, it will push away people they care about, including clients and others in their wider community.
What if a client asks for something that you know is really beyond your capacity? Can you really say no?
For so many, it seems like you need to give way beyond what is sustainable in order to make the business work. It’s not true.
It’s not surprising, honestly, that this is so present. The current cultures asks all of us, and especially women, to give way beyond what we would ordinarily want to, beyond what is healthy for us.
The healing is in heart-centered boundaries- and how to embody them in a way that doesn’t create more harm, when all you really want is just for everyone, including you, to be cared-for.
Kendra Cunov is someone I’ve known for years, with deep integrity, incredible insight and beauty in the work she does. She has done so much work in embodied intimacy, in wholeness and … in boundaries.
I thought it would be powerful if you could learn about boundaries from her. I’m hosting her for a 90 minute no-cost workshop coming up next Wednesday, a week from today, June 3, on Boundaries in Business.
Similar to others I’ve hosted, there will be zero selling. I just want you to get to know her and benefit from her work. Of course she teaches and works with clients… there will be plenty of opportunity to decide to work with her in the coming weeks and months and years.
For now, Kendra and I just want you to get the help.
