“Things are so hard for people now… is my business just a luxury that no one needs in these times?”
A client was asking this, because they were wondering where the clients were. It’s a question I’ve heard more frequently lately, although I’ve been hearing versions of it for more than twenty years.
There are, absolutely, luxury businesses that take the hit in hard economic times, unless one has the very wealthy as clients.
However, most, maybe all, businesses we work with are not that. So, I took a walk in the woods to have a short discussion about an element that you need to develop to keep your business from being treated as a luxury… and it will help you with your own beliefs/headspace as well.
I’m really curious to hear how this landed, and what you see in your own business when you think through this element.
With love,

Heart of Business, Inc.
Every act of business can be an act of love.
The 3 Blocks Course starts Tuesday.
And, the 3 blocks (obstacles? building blocks? you get to choose…) will absolutely help to stabilize your business and keep it from being treated like an unnecessary luxury.
The three blocks are the things that people often struggle with the most, and are the ones clients tell us, “I wish I had just given in and listened to you sooner on these.”
Which three? Niche. Packages. Problem-based marketing.
There’s a reason people resist: these three elements are done really toxically. So, I hope you’re willing to consider letting me bring some love and insight and healing to these three, because when done with love, they really do stabilize your business in really important, and fun, ways.
Three Tuesdays starting May 26th, pay from the heart pricing.
