Well, that was a trip and a half.
Pre-conference assumptions: Corporate audience, blue suits and red striped ties, I would be hanging out like a wet sock on a car antenna doing 80 down the freeway… and about as relevant.
Post-conference realities: Corporate and small business audience, relaxed blue jeans, with some blazers, many people doing fantastic work on bringing spirituality and consciousness into the business arena.
I’m very please I went.
I faced my fears, met some absolutely awesome people, such as:
Karen Humphries Sallick (who also runs The Priority Group), Peggie Pelosi, Martin Rutte, among many, many others.
I want to say that the extreme nervousness that preceded my presentation kept me in a place of deep spiritual practice- which added immeasurably to the presentation itself. Nervousness and fear paid off, big time. I’m really glad I was so nervous and unconfident.
Wing-stretching, indeed.
