[Video] Can neediness in business be healthy?

Hey there,

Last week I talked about the 6 parts of healing needed around visibility and outreach for your business. One of those parts was around neediness.

Because neediness is so misunderstood, I wanted to go more deeply into it. Because neediness can be, and often is, healthy. Yes, healthy. But we don’t often deal with it in healthy ways.

Let me explain.

What’s been your journey with your own neediness? Can you find a healthier way to be with it? I’d love to hear.

Business can be much easier. It really can.

Too often small business owners are piecing together this technique and that tactic, and, in the meantime, struggling with issues around “abundance mindset” and just plain being worn out.

We have a clear, wisdom-based curriculum that can walk you through the stages of business development. Grounded, practical, accessible spiritual nourishment. Compassionate accountability, and a generous, open-hearted community.

Oh yeah, and coaching. Coaching! Feedback! All at a price you choose (after a 10 day free trial.)

Building a business takes time, but it doesn’t have to be torture. You can fly. You can be profitable. You really can do this.

  1. Ah, neediness. For me, it took a lot of support from the different classes at Heart of Business and coaching, to be able to even tolerate my neediness. And after that, it took even more Remembering to allow the Divine to fill that neediness.

During the last four months and a lot of psychoeducation from neuroscience, I’ve understood that this was mainly because much of my neediness was entangled with trauma-related vehement emotions and an accompanying sense of urgency, that often felt quite intolerable.

I’m forever grateful that the sense of safety I was able to allow and rest in at Heart of Business has helped me discern what is what, and learn to relate to my neediness in a different way. <3

  2. Thank you for sharing the concept of neediness in an enlightening way. It can be healthy when we reach out to the Divine, rather than to another person who isn’t ready to meet that need. This blog really is about the “heart” of business.

    Great blog!
