When my sister and I were little, my parents would take us every summer for a week to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. There’s a boardwalk, with a small, boardwalk-sized amusement park, ice cream, pizza, and, of course, the beach.
My parents have continued the tradition, and now we all go together, my family, my sister’s family, and my parents. Which is where I am now, this week!
I recorded this video last week, to talk about a surprisingly critical topic for entrepreneurs- vacations. And I don’t mean expensive, lavish, instagram-worthy (whatever that means) vacations.
I just mean taking a break.
Here it is:
When was the last time you had at least a three day break from your business? If you looked out over the next couple of months, when could you reasonably plan that for yourself?

Marketing to Strangers
It can be hard to let yourself take a vacation when there’s not a lot of flow in your business. Part of it is a healing to let yourself take the vacation anyway.
And another might be to help your business have more flow! A key ingredient of which is letting strangers know that you, and your business, exist.
Although lots of people have good intentions, in terms of actually getting it done, marketing is the most-avoided topic in business. And this particular aspect, marketing to strangers, is the most-avoided topic in marketing.
But it doesn’t have to be! It can be so much easier and joyful. And it doesn’t require you to be someone different.
Healing + knowledge + strategy = Marketing to Strangers.
It’s a five week course, starts August 8, and you can do it imperfectly and incompletely and still get a tremendous amount out of it.
And, like many of our offerings, priced at Pay from the Heart.
