The Jewish holiday of Chanukah ended a few days ago, 3 days ago was the winter solstice, Kwanzaa begins in two days, the Christian holiday of Christmas arrives tomorrow, and I just learned about the Japanese New Year’s eve observance called Omisoka.
Although sacredness exists in every moment, and in every place, humans have long acknowledged that certain times, and certain places, hold a special spiritual focus for us.
This quiet time of the year, this pause between the in-breath and the-out breath, when in the northern hemisphere seeds below the earth are moving in slow and subtle ways toward germination, and in the southern hemisphere there is the pause after life’s wild riot of spring…
…also affects your business. This is a time of listening. Of allowing the sacred in this moment to give us access to a wild, quiet, mysterious joy, which your business shares in as well.
