I know that many of our clients struggle with taking time during their work hours to do spiritual practice, or other connecting practices. The urge to be productive, to get things done on an infinite checklist, is so overbearing.
And yet, I think it’s critical to make time. I wanted to discuss this with you… and there’s even a one minute addendum at the end, an important piece I forget to mention and wanted to include.
So, 7 minutes, and well worth it, I think.
Do you take time for spiritual practice during your workday? Are you willing to take on a challenge to do that?
The Remembrance Challenge is just that, a challenge to take on 15 minutes of spiritual practice each day over two weeks. Check it out.

The Dec 2 Virtual Retreat
I know how challenging it can be to set an entire day aside. Please don’t feel like you *have* to do that to attend this retreat. Of course, I’m sure you’d love to.
But, if you’re in the situation of not being able to clear your schedule, the truth is, these virtual retreats have an incredible ability to help us carry the retreat energy, the deeper heart connection, into every day life. People who have had to meet clients, or handle other appointments during the retreat, said that the retreat really helped to shift and deepen how they showed up.
It showed them a more profound way to move in the world.
This is one of the things I mean when we talk about spiritual practice during work. And you don’t get more of than doing an entire virtual retreat while working. It’s not always the right thing to do, but when it happens, it’s amazing.
Here’s a question: what if spiritual retreat days didn’t have to be so rare and special? What if they were more normal and often, so that every day began to feel more like a retreat?
That’s the possibility and invitation here.
“I love these retreats. The focuses help me consider relevant issues that are deeper than what may occur to me. Their meanings are often very personal as if the focus was chosen with my own life path in mind. The realities shared by other participants help me tune in to my own experiences and limitations so that I can shift them. Gets me back to my inner self so I can show up better for the world.”
