Found By a Long Lost Friend
This great thing happened to me last night. An old friend, an avowed “desert rat” living in Tucson, AZ, that I haven’t heard from in 20 years happened across my blog, which I haven’t touched in months. She left me a comment on my About page. Surprised and happy to see me, and so appreciative of my writing. I was thrilled and am waiting to really say hello again.
This is a great reminder of how this internet technology, which can so deftly suck intimacy and human contact from our lives, can be the portal for lost relationships, for reconnections otherwise unimaginable.
When we have blogs and newsletters churning away out there in the world, we can be found when our peeps decide to look, or re-decide to look, or just need time to know that we’re there before they do anything about it.
Speaking of making contact, the Sacred Moment Seminar early-bird deadline is today, Friday, March 5. If you get plenty of calls but few yes responses, you might want to check it out.
